We've seen more than one inspection that has uncovered a potentially dangerous situation, and many unpleasant ones, too. We don't see many people forgo the home inspection, but when we do we try to explain the benefits of having one, and they always end up agreeing with us. Is saving the $300-400 an inspection costs worth risking an injury or worse, or ending up having to correct an expensive issue which could have been caught by a competent home inspector? We think not.

No argument there!
