Harriman Real Estate, LLC Welcomes Ellen Barton Harriman!
The local real estate market seems to be experiencing a growth spurt after a couple of slow months following the expiration of the home buyer tax credit. We’re happy to say that Harriman Real Estate is growing again, too!
It’s been too long since our last agent joined us, so today we are excited to welcome Ellen Barton Harriman as the newest addition to the Harriman Real Estate family. And as coincidental as it may seem, she is NOT related to us. At least not by blood, but she certainly is by her passion for the real estate business. She knew even before she finished her real estate training that she wanted to work for an independent broker, not a big franchise. After she passed her tests, Ellen began the process of interviewing with several small companies, and when she connected with Pat she knew she had found her home.
Ellen comes to us with 15 years of experience as a registered interior designer and spent the last 10 years selling interior architectural products. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in interior design and also has a master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Art Education. She wants to specialize in sales of new construction and plans to obtain her “green” certification. Her interior design expertise will certainly come in handy when helping her clients stage their homes, a prime ingredient in the selling process often overlooked by people looking to get their home sold quickly.
Ellen grew up in Wallingford and has also called Chester and Essex home prior to settling in Glastonbury where she is active in her son’s Cub Scout troop and volunteers for the school Parent/Teacher Organization. She will be carrying the Harriman Real Estate banner into Hartford and Middlesex counties, as well as the Connecticut shoreline. We are very happy to have her on board and hope you will join us in extending to her a heartfelt…
Welcome to the Family, Ellen!!
