FORE! A Quartet of Golf Tournaments to Close Out Summer

As we say our last goodbyes to the Summer of 2012, we must remember that there is still a lot of sunshine and good times to be had before Old Man Winter sticks his nose in where he’s not welcome. For those of you who enjoy a good round or two of golf, here are four local tournaments coming up in the next week that honor good causes and will help you get your short game in shape for next year!

21st Annual Kay & Joe Calvanese Memorial Charity Tournament

Where: Southington Country Club, Southington CT

Cost: $215 per person

Details:

  • In recognition of Kay and Joe Calvanese, and benefits various local charities through the Calvanese Charity Foundation.
  • Includes Lunch at the country club provided by The Aqua Turf Club
  • Eighteen holes of golf, food and beverages on the course and a shared golf cart
  • Evening dinner gala at The Aqua Turf Club
