2015 Wallingford Holiday Home Tour

Quinnipiac Chamber 2013 Holiday House TourHave you ever driven by a charming old house, perhaps an historic or luxury property, and said, “Wow, I’d LOVE to see what it looks like inside!”? I know I have, many times. To be able to see inside quaint, luxurious, or historic homes is a rare opportunity, and this year that opportunity can once again be yours.

This Saturday, December 5th, the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce will hold their 4th Annual Holiday Home Tour from 10AM to 4PM at several amazing local homes. The major event sponsors and  include Fish Window Cleaning, Budget Blinds of Branford, New Haven Living Magazine and Washington Memorial Funeral Home, while the houses are sponsored and will be decorated and manned by several area businesses, including Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Calcagni Real Estate, H. Pearce Real Estate, Keller Williams Realty Central CT, Attorney Lars Edeen, Attorney George H. Romania, Chimino Home Inspections, First World Mortgage, Marchetti, Brown & Bishop, North Haven Tile Carpet One Floor & Home, Right At Home, Citizens Bank, Walton Electric, Pillar to Post Home Inspectors, Attorney Robert Deleon, Ward Kilduff Mortgage, Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, Barberino Nissan, The Michalowski Agency LLC, and Connex Credit Union.

The real estate agencies will also have the assistance of home stagers/interior designers, including Lindsay Fuller (Interiors by Lindsay), Kristen Wilk-Key (Changes Home Staging), Nadia Dillon (Nadia Dillon Design), Jennifer Napolitano (JN Designs), Judi Granucci (Design Home Interiors), and Julie Albrecht (Divine Interiors).

1150 Ridge Road, North Haven

2015 Wallingford Ho;iday Home Tour

An added bonus this year is a performance by Broadway performer and Duke Ellington Orchestra singer Kim Hester-Tabor at the home at 14 Turnberry Road from 11am to 2pm. Also, several local students were chosen to do drawings of the featured homes and six of those drawings will be in this year’s program. The remainder will be on display at the Wallingford Public Library.

Tickets for this amazing event are $25 per person and are available at the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce office located at 50 No. Main Street, 2nd Floor, in Wallingford. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the Chamber web site and from the participating real estate agencies.

On the day of the Holiday Home Tour, you can start at any one of the homes. When you get to your first home, you will be greeted by a representative of the sponsoring real estate agency and receive a program for the event. The Wallingford Historical Society will be open that day as a respite stop and will be serving refreshments and also collecting new, unwrapped toys for Holiday for Giving. In case of inclement weather, the tour will take place on December 6th.

The Holiday Home Tour is always a fantastic way to usher in the holiday season, and I’m sure this year will be no different, so mark your calendars and get your tickets early.
