If you’ve ever wondered what the food at some of Wallingford’s downtown restaurants is like, now is the time to find out! Wallingford Center, Inc. is sponsoring the 6th annual Wallingford Restaurant Hop on May 23rd from 4pm to 8pm. Bring the whole family and sample the specialties of some of the best eateries Wallingford has to offer (including one newcomer) and enjoy some good company, too! Here’s how it works: you purchase an entry “bracelet” for $25 ($12 for kids under 12) which will get you into each of the participating restaurants and allow you to sample selected items off their menu.
This event serves as a fundraiser for Wallingford Center, Inc in support of other programs, such as Celebrate Wallingford, The Farmer’s Market, and the Holiday Stroll.

Speaking from prior experience, I can vouch for the quality of food at all of these establishments, and I’m looking forward to getting out and trying them all again! If you’re looking for a break from the kitchen and you can’t decide where to go, this is a great way to get out of the house, try some food you might not have tried before and support local Wallingford businesses. As a wise man once said, “Good bread, good meat, good God, let’s eat!”.
See you at the Hop!
