Summer is will be here soon, bringing more hot days and hopefully cool nights. When the Community Pool opens that will take care of the hot days, but the cool nights need something to do as well, and this fits the bill.

Hello, My name is Kathy Neri and I am the band director of the wonderful 18 piece big band, Al Fenton Big Band! We would love to be considered for this year’s lineup. I am also a member of Classified, Motown and then some! I am enclosing information on both bands.
Our big band has been together for over 15 years and we customize every event we play at – we can do music from any era and can put on a show that includes hits from popular artists such as Pharrell Williams, Nora Jones, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles all the way back to Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Billy Holiday. Our music appeals to all generations. Our website is http://www.alfentonbigband.com where you can hear and see the band in action and watch our electronic press kit.
The other group I perform with is a nine piece band – four horns, rhythm section and female vocalist (same vocalist for the big band)! We perform Motown, Chicago, Tower of Power – Our name is Classified (formerly Maggie Blues) and our motto is Motown and then some! We just performed at the Big E for Connecticut Day and for West Hartford’s YMCA fundraiser. I am attaching a link of our facebook page for this group – if you look on the page you will see our electronic press kit.

Hope to hear from you soon! We’d love to play for your town.
